CO-OP4CBD's Training and Networking Session in Málaga highlighted in Spanish newspaper Gente

Last month, the digital newspaper Gente published an article on the Training and Networking Session of CO-OP4CBD in Málaga, Spain. The piece highlighted the contribution of not only the hosting institution, the International University of Andalucía (UNIA), but also the co-organisers from the French Museum of Natural History (MNHN), the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS) and IUCN Med.

Delving into the session's proceedings, the paper also placed a spotlight on the main stakeholder groups that were brought together. Those were namely policy officials, researchers and technical experts whose activities all bear relevance to the paradigms behind the Convention on Biological Diversity (UN CBD) and the associated Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM GBF).

Furthermore, the article also informed readers about the processes affiliated with those agreements that were at the core of the event - the Clearing-House Mechanism (CHM) and Technical and Scientific Cooperation (TSC). Those were discussed in detailed showcases and exchanges of experiences, with unique perspectives from across Europe converging in an outlook on the environmental agenda of the present and future.
