Preview of the CO-OP4CBD - Biodiversa+ Guide to UN CBD Processes Now Available - Your Feedback Needed!
During the recently conducted event "Enhancing the role of knowledge holders in CBD: pioneering capacity-building initiatives across the world" at the SBSTTA-27 meeting in Panama, CO-OP4CBD and Biodiversa+ unveiled a preview of the upcoming UN CBD Guide - a practical resource designed to support participation in the Convention on Biological Diversity processes.
Jointly developed between CO-OP4CBD and Biodiversa+, the guide aims to make UN CBD processes more accessible by providing clear explanations, practical tools, and pathways for engaging knowledge holders, researchers, and policymakers. It supports one of CO-OP4CBD’s core missions - to strengthen the science-policy interface for biodiversity at global and regional levels.
The preview version of the guide, showcased at the SBSTTA-27 side event, offers an early look at its structure and approach. We are now opening this preview to the broader biodiversity community and warmly invite you to share your thoughts and suggestions. Your feedback will help refine the guide before its full release later this year.
