Registration Open: CO-OP4CBD Online Training Series on SBSTTA-28 Agenda Items
CO-OP4CBD is pleased to invite biodiversity experts, policymakers, CBD stakeholders, major groups, and interested members of the biodiversity community to participate in its upcoming Online Training Series on SBSTTA-28 Agenda Items, taking place between 22 and 29 June 2026.
The primary goal of this series of online training sessions is to facilitate expert-led presentations and stakeholder discussions on key topics that will be addressed during the 28th meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-28), scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 27 July to 1 August 2026.
The training sessions are designed to support participants in understanding the scientific, technical, and policy dimensions of the forthcoming negotiations and discussions under the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). By bringing together experts and stakeholders from different sectors and regions, the series aims to strengthen engagement in the UN CBD process and contribute to a more effective science-policy interface for biodiversity.
